phonoFemme_art in progress is the digital web space in which a joint artistic production process is developed within a network. The artists of the platforms enterprise z (Vienna), Deep Listening Institute (New York) and Mani D.O.O. (Rovinj, Croatia) meet in the virtual space to discuss sound art in the chat space and to make sounds available to the digital community for further editing.

Create your own sound art

All users around the world are invited to follow the discussion and to submit their own sounds related to the topic “machine sound” at phonoFemme_art in progress. The sound files will be saved in a playlist and can be used by other users as templates for further editing. All the sounds saved in the playlist will be the basis for a work of sound art developed by the platform enterprise z. This sound art project is in a constant open sound process; from time to time, excerpts from this work may be published on the web and made accessible for listening by the digital community. The digital community itself may participate in the production of art on the one hand, and may constantly follow this artistic development process on the other. Thus, the work of sound art is developed jointly and continuously by the digital community and enterprise z in an open sound process.

phonoFemme_ art in progress ist der digitale Webspace, in dem ein gemeinsamer Kunstproduktionsprozess vernetzt entwickelt wird. Die Künstlerinnen der Plattformen enterprise z / Wien, Deep Listening Institut / New York und Mani D.O.O. / Rovinj, Kroatien treffen sich im virtuellen Raum, um die Klangkunst im Chatspace zu diskutieren und Klänge der digital Community zur Weiterbearbeitung zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Machen Sie Klangkunst

Als Userinnen und User sind Sie weltweit eingeladen, diesen Diskurs mitzuverfolgen und auch eigene Sounds zum Thema "Maschinenklang" auf phonoFemme_art in progress abzugeben. Die Soundfiles werden in einer Playlist abgespeichert und können von anderen Userinnen/Usern als Vorlage zu Weiterbearbeitung herangezogen werden. Sämtliche in der Playlist abgespeicherten Klänge bilden das Ausgangsmaterial einer Klangkunstarbeit, die von der Plattform enterprise z entwickelt wird. Dieses Klangkunstprojekt befindet sich in einem ständigen open sound process, von Zeit zu Zeit werden Auszüge aus dieser Arbeit im Webspace veröffentlicht und für die digitale Community abhörbar gemacht. Die digitale Community kann einerseits selbst an der Kunstproduktion partizipieren und andererseits diesen Kunstentwicklungsprozess permanent mitverfolgen. Diese Klangkunstarbeit wird somit im open sound process von der digitalen Community und enterprise z gemeinsam kontinuierlich entwickelt.
